CALGARY – A motorcyclist had to be rushed to hospital after a crash on Highway 22X.
The motorcycle collided with a pickup truck just east of city limits on Tuesday evening.

The victim, a man in his mid 30’s, suffered serious, potentially life-threatening injuries and was given a police escort to the Foothills Hospital.
Officers shut down major roads so the ambulance could get through as fast as possible.
It’s unknown if speed or alcohol are thought to be factors in the collision.
