WolfCop has a successful first weekend in theatres

REGINA – The producers of the made-in-Saskatchewan comedy-horror movie WolfCop are howling with joy.

CineCoup C-E-O J. Joly says the movie opened on the weekend in theatres in Regina, Saskatoon, Moose Jaw, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver.

He says the film brought in an average of five-thousand dollars per screening. He says that’s pretty good considering Hollywood movies usually make between six and 10 thousand per screening.

Joly says Wolfcop is now scheduled to open in the rest of the country and will debut in Toronto this Friday.
