TORONTO – Perhaps it was too much love. A small section of Paris’ fame “lovelocks” bridge collapsed Sunday.
According to the BBC, a two-and-a-half-metre section of the Pont des Arts bridge collapsed under the weight of the growing number of padlocks left by couples.

No injuries were reported.
In February, two Americans living in Paris launched a No Love Locks campaign claiming the weight of the locks is putting the structural integrity of the city’s architecture at risk, The Guardian reported.
