Police were called to a campground near Innisfail Thursday, after reports of gunfire.
RCMP officers from eight detachments, along with the Air Services Helicopter and the Police Dog Service, responded to the scene.
Mounties say the driver of a yellow extended cab Dodge pickup truck pulled up in front of an RV lot and demanded property from the lone occupant at the site.
The situation escalated and one of the suspects fired a shot from a hand gun before taking off in the pickup.
The suspects are described as two Caucasian men in their twenties; both were wearing dark clothing, one of the men has red hair and the other has light brown hair.
The suspects are believed to be armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information should contact Innisfail RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
