One person dead after fire in southern Alberta


CALGARY- One person has been found dead, following a fire that broke out northeast of Calgary on Monday morning.

RCMP and fire crews were called to a structure fire in Swalwell, which is near Beiseker. After it was extinguished, human remains were found inside.

So far, the person has not been identified, and investigators are still trying to determine what sparked the fire.

It’s also not clear if the death is considered suspicious.
