TORONTO – A car racing through a neighbourhood drew the ire of one resident who responded to the speeding vehicle by hurling a barrage of stones.
A video posted to YouTube shows a Lamborghini Aventador driving down a residential street in Playa Vista, California, when a man appears on the side of the road apparently unimpressed with the driver.
“Keep racing, keep doing it,” the man yells at the driver.
As the sports car takes off, the upset resident appears to throw a stone at the Lamborghini, which is followed by a loud thumping sound of the rock hitting the vehicle.
The Lamborghini, which costs approximately $450,000, comes to a screeching halt before speeding off as the man hurls a second stone accompanied by a flurry of expletives.
In an interview with The Telegraph, Stephen Zinn, who posted the video said he and his friends were watching the Lamborghini driving quickly up and down the street.
“He was upset that the guy kept flooring it down the streets and how it made so much noise and had made skid marks on the street,” Zinn said. “He was lucky because that could have ticked the wrong person off and could have put his life in danger.”
