Penticton Army and Navy Veterans Club damaged

PENTICTON–A car backed through a large window of the Army and Navy Veterans Club in Penticton on Sunday afternoon.

It shattered one large pane of glass and even broke through a brick wall.

Witnesses said the driver of the car had stopped in the middle of the street and then backed up as if to turn around, before backing right into the building.

No one was injured.

A meeting had been held in the building in the morning but it had been adjourned prior to the crash
