A Saskatchewan man is facing child exploitation charges stemming from alleged incidents with a New Brunswick girl under the age of 18.
On May 15, a 53-year-old Carlyle, Sask. man was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography, communicating with a person under 18 to facilitate the commission of an offence, and sending sexual material to a person under 18 to facilitate the commission of an offence.
The man’s name is not being released to protect the identity of the child.
The arrest was made after a joint investigation between the Saskatchewan Integrated Child Exploitation Unit and New Brunswick Internet Child Exploitation Unit.
