Alberta woman recovering after being forced into burning vehicle

EDMONTON – A woman is recovering in an Edmonton hospital after a shocking crime northwest of Edmonton.

The victim was getting into her vehicle in Fox Creek early Thursday morning when two men threatened her and forced their way inside. The two men then drove the woman out of town.

When they stopped, the suspects set the vehicle on fire, then pushed the woman back inside.

She suffered second and third degree burns and is receiving treatment at the University of Alberta Hospital.

The suspects are in their early 20s, and both are about 5’8″ tall.

Both men were wearing hoodies, one was green.

Fox Creek is about a three hour drive northwest of Edmonton.
