Victoria police are investigating the discovery of a human skull.
Police spokesman Bowen Osoko says the skull was found by a resident cleaning an outbuilding in an area west of the city’s downtown.

He says the skull is bare bone and appears to have been at the location for a long period of time.
Osoko says investigators are working with the BC Coroners Service to make sure there are no other remains in the area.
