A Chinese man had crowds buzzing as he set another world record for “bee bearding.”
Ruan Liangming wore a “suit” of roughly 100,000 bees for 53 minutes and 34 seconds in Yichun city in China’s Jiangxi province in front of a crowd and attended by a Guinness certification officer.
Liangming, a beekeeper by trade, can now say he holds multiple “bee bearding” records as he also set the world record in 2008 for carrying the heaviest load of bees.
He managed to carry a suit weighing 62.1 kilograms (136 pounds) of bees, according to a Guinness World Records.
The event was produced in partnership with Chinese broadcaster CCTV, as part of the program Guinness China Night.
