Former SREDA CEO fined $9K for not filing taxes

SASKATOON – The former president and CEO of the Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority (SREDA), Tim LeClair, has pleaded guilty to not filing his taxes for nine years.

LeClair was expected to go to trial Thursday but on Tuesday he entered a guilty plea to all nine counts.

He was fined a total of $9,000.

Shortly after the charges came to light in April, LeClair was let go from his position with SREDA.

His position with SREDA involved travelling around the world and attracting potential business investors to Saskatoon.
