Calgary police hope to identify drivers in viral dash camera video

CALGARY – Police are looking to the public for help identifying two people involved in a viral YouTube video showing dangerous driving on Crowchild Trail.

The video, uploaded by YouTube user Roman Kozubskyy on May 9th, shows a vehicle travelling northbound on Crowchild Trail at a high rate of speed, weaving in and out of traffic.

The video appears to have been captured by a dash camera in a second vehicle, which was following along, also at a high rate of speed.

Police are investigating the video, and say it appears to have been filmed between Flanders Avenue and Bow Trail at 5 p.m., possibly on Thursday, April 8th.

Officials are hoping to identify both drivers involved.

They say both drivers posed a danger not only to themselves but to other drivers as well.
