Woman claims she was bitten by python ‘hiding’ in toilet bowl

TORONTO – A Singapore woman said she was horrified after a six-foot python bit her in the thigh as she sat on her toilet.

Noraslinda Asat said while sitting on her toilet she felt a sharp pain. She stood up and found a snake had sunk its teeth into her thigh, according to reports.

The 34-year-old was taken to the hospital and treated for the snakebite.

According to Metro,  Animal Concerns Research and Education Society was called to the scene and was unable to find the snake.

The woman reportedly said she is so traumatized she is now afraid to use the toilet at her home and now prefers to use a public one.

In July 2013, a man in Israel was hospitalized after a snake bit his genitals. The man was treated at a local hospital and later released.
