TORONTO — Here’s your first look at Ben Affleck as Batman.
Director Zack Snyder, who has started work on Batman vs. Superman, shared a photo of the actor as the Dark Knight via Twitter on Tuesday.
Costume designer Michael Wilkinson also tweeted an image of Affleck in character.
Affleck sparked a social media flurry last August when he was cast to play the caped crusader, taking over the role from Christian Bale.
He will play Batman opposite Henry Cavill as Superman in the movie, which is set to open in May 2016.

Jesse Eisenberg will play Lex Luthor and Gal Gadot will play Wonder Woman. The cast also includes Jeremy Irons and Holly Hunter.
Filming will take place in Detroit.
