Calgary police seek tips in cemetery arson

Calgary police are asking the public for help in their investigation into a fire in Union Cemetery, off Spiller Rd. S.E.

The fire was deliberately set in an old chapel on March 29th at around 3.30 p.m.

As smoke poured out of the windows and doors, witnesses spotted two men running from the scene.

After fire crews doused the flames and were able to enter the building, they found graffiti throughout the interior.

Damage to the historic building is estimated at $100,000.
