CALGARY – Wastewater recycling company Aqua-Pure Ventures (TSXV:AQE) says it will expand its operations into the Eagle Ford Shale region in south Texas through a subcontracting agreement with NAC Services LLC.
Financial terms of the deal were not revealed.
Aqua-Pure said Thursday it got the subcontract deal through wholly owned subsidiary, Fountain Quail Water Management LLC.

NAC Services is an affiliate of Noise Attenuation Construction Services.
Under the deal, Fountain Quail will recycle wastewater generated during the production of oil and natural gas from the Eagle Ford Shale.
The company expects to employ about 15 workers at the new operations, which will have the capacity to recycle roughly 5,000 barrels of fluid a day.

“We have been eyeing the Eagle Ford for some time, looking for the right opportunity to expand into this emerging shale play,” said Jake Halldorson, chief executive of Calgary-based Aqua-Pure.
“We’re pleased to have negotiated a mutually beneficial relationship with NAC, and we look forward to bringing our industry-leading recycling technologies to a region where preserving fresh water resources is paramount.”
