Under the deal, Fountain Quail will recycle wastewater generated during the production of oil and natural gas from the Eagle Ford Shale.

The company expects to employ about 15 workers at the new operations, which will have the capacity to recycle roughly 5,000 barrels of fluid a day.

“We have been eyeing the Eagle Ford for some time, looking for the right opportunity to expand into this emerging shale play,” said Jake Halldorson, chief executive of Calgary-based Aqua-Pure.
