CALGARY – Just out for a rip are ya bud?
A wayward moose caused quite a stir in northwest Calgary on Wednesday night.
He was spotted running down a street in Royal Oak and into a few backyards.
Concerned police followed the animal to make sure he didn’t sprint into traffic on Stoney Trail.
Officers did eventually corral the loose moose, who made his way back into the wilderness.

It’s certainly not the first time a moose took a jaunt through the city.
In January, Fish and Wildlife officers had to tranquilize two of the animals so they could be moved to a safer environment.
