Police are putting up posters in downtown nightclubs featuring a QR, or Quick Response code, a kind of checkerboard barcode that people can scan with a smartphone to be linked to information about the case.

Police are hoping this will generate tips about the attacker, who’s described as a well-groomed man in his 20’s or 30’s with dark hair, an average build and medium height.

Meanwhile, police are once again warning women to be careful if they are walking alone in the entertainment district late at night.
