SALMON ARM — A Kamloops man walked away nearly unscathed after being hit by a train.
Salmon Arm RCMP were called to Ja Moore Crossing on Tuesday at about 4:00 am.

The 45 year-old cyclist was sitting on the train tracks when the police arrived.
“This male stated that he was riding his bicycle west on the train tracks and didn’t see the train coming,” said Staff Sergeant Kevin Keane.
The man was taken to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
