CALGARY- Six new Calgary locations have been added to the list of possible exposure sites for measles.
Alberta Health Services says it has confirmed a new case in the city, and people who were in the following places may have come into contact with the disease.
They are:
A & W Restaurant – 190-4307 130 Ave S.E., Calgary
- April 18 – 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Walmart –4705 130 Ave S.E., Calgary

- April 18 – 12:45 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
South Health Campus Emergency Department – 4448 Front Street S.E., Calgary
- April 18 – 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.
La Charme Hair Salon & Spa – #2, 539 Queensland Place S.E., Calgary
- April 19 – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Pet Planet Millrise Plaza – #3117, 150 Millrise Blvd. S.W., Calgary
- April 19 – 11:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Safeway Southcentre – 11011 Bonaventure Dr. S.E., Calgary
- April 21 – 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
People who were in those locations at the mentioned times are asked to monitor themselves for symptoms, including a fever, cough and runny nose, or a red blotchy rash behind the ears spreading down to the arms and legs.
There is no treatment for measles, but it can be prevented through immunization. AHS is hosting some drop-in clinics this week.
