EDMONTON – An Edmonton woman has been charged after a threat was emailed to the Canadian Forces.
Police say an email was sent to the Canadian Forces in Toronto with information that a man was planning to commit a terrorist attack in Edmonton.

The RCMP investigated the situation and found that the email was a hoax. As a result, Hanna Bedhiafi, 23, has been arrested and charged with committing a “Hoax Regarding Terrorist Activity.”
Bedhiafi has been released but is scheduled to appear in Edmonton Provincial Court on May 9.
