Organizers say having the rocker as part of the show is a big coup.

“We’ve been trying to get Bryan Adams for years, and hope it’s a record year for our fundraising for The Rotary Club of Calgary,” said producer Caitlin Boyle.

The 2014 Roundup is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. on July 9, at Fort Calgary. Tickets go on sale to those associated with event sponsors on April 28.

Last year’s Roundup raised $225,000 for the Rotary Club of Calgary, as well as $43,000 towards flood relief.
