CALGARY- Pour some sugar on me!

Calgarians will be screaming those famous song lyrics this summer, when Def Leppard rolls into town to headline the Stampede Roundup—known as one of the hottest parties during the Calgary Stampede.

“One of the best parts of putting this event on each year is announcing who’ll be hitting the stage,” says Caitlin Boyle, producer of the Stampede Roundup.  “We know Def Leppard is going to be really popular with our guests.”

The iconic band will be joined by Cheap Trick and Sloan, and the event will be held on Wednesday, July 10 at Fort Calgary.

Money will also be raised for the Rotary Club of Calgary.

“This year we’ve committed to doing our part in enhancing the quality of life for Calgarians by providing funds to the new Pathways Project,” explains Ron Esch, Rotary BBQ Committee Chairperson. “This multi-million dollar project will provide 138 kilometers of pathways and specialty parks circling the city.”
