RCMP are searching for a suspect after a Vernon bank was robbed Friday afternoon.
Police responded to a call around 3 p.m. that the Royal Bank at the Polson Mall off Highway 6 had been robbed.
The male suspect had indicated to the clerk he had a weapon.
The clerk provided an undisclosed amount of cash and the suspect left the bank.
He is described as between 25 and 30 years old and approximately 5’9″ with a stalky build.
The suspect was wearing a black ball cap and a black windbreaker.
He has brown hair and brown eyes and was clean shaven.
