EDMONTON – Edmonton fire investigators are looking into how a blaze started in a west Edmonton home on Sunday.
The blaze began at around 5:15 p.m. in the home in the Donsdale neighborhood along Drysdale Run.
Crews believe the fire started in the attic at the front of the house, but fire fighters were able to contain the blaze to the attic.

“As far as I know the fire did not extend downward below the ceiling,” said Acting District Chief Marc Zubick, Edmonton Fire Rescue.
Investigators don’t know what sparked the blaze or how much damage was caused.
No one was injured in the fire.
The home is owned by former 630 CHED general manager Doug Rutherford and his wife Michelle Boden.
