TORONTO – The sideshow at Toronto City Hall could be coming to television.
A report from The Globe and Mail says the U.S. production company behind hit reality shows like American Chopper, Dirty Jobs, and Ghost Hunters approached Mayor Rob Ford’s camp about the possibility of creating a reality show.
During Ford’s visit to Los Angeles in March he was reportedly contacted by Pilgrim Studios about developing an unscripted television series.

Pilgrim Studios was not immediately available to comment on the report and would neither confirm or deny to The Globe and Mail whether any such project was in development.
Since Ford’s admission to smoking crack cocaine and the emergence of videos showing Ford seemingly intoxicated and insulting Police Chief Bill Blair in Jamaican patois, he has provided endless fodder for late-night talk shows.
Ford and his brother, Coun. Doug Ford, host a YouTube series called Ford Nation.
