Milne’s mother recorded the moment as her daughter was overcome with emotion listening to her doctor say the days of the week. The video has gone viral with over 500,000 views on YouTube.
Milne was shocked what hearing for the first time felt like, “as a deaf person, I’ve always tried to have a little idea of what things would have sounded like but I have been so wrong.”
