One of the Okanagan’s most successful technology companies has lost its web presence due to what looks like an oversight.
Club Penguin, an international children’s gaming site, let their website domain expire about a week ago.
The site went offline Monday and has yet to be brought back.
Club Penguin was launched in Kelowna in 2005 and was purchased by Disney in 2007 for $350 million.
Disney says the site has 12-million paying members. They employ about 350 people in Kelowna.
