OTTAWA – There are now just four M-P’s vying for the job of Speaker of the House of Commons.

Ontario Conservative candidate Barry Devolin was knocked out in the third round of voting.

The remaining candidates include New Democrat Denise Savoie, the only woman running for the job.

Thirty-two-year-old Saskatchewan Tory Andrew Scheer — considered the front-runner for the position — is also still in the race.

He was the deputy speaker in the last Parliament.
