No weekend subway service between Bloor-Yonge and St Andrew stations

TORONTO – The first weekend of spring will be a frustrating one for commuters using Toronto’s subway system as there will be no service between Bloor-Yonge and St Andrew stations.

The Toronto Transit Commission will be replacing and installing new signal systems on March 22-23 as well as April 5-6.

All trains on the University-Spadina line will turn back north at St Andrew station and likewise for the Yonge line which will end at Bloor-Yonge.

Shuttle buses will run in its place and people may use 6 Bay or 94 Wellesley buses as well as the 506 Carlton, 505 Dundas, 501 Queen or 504 King streetcars as an alternative.
