KELOWNA — The jury has been selected for a high profile murder case involving the death of an Armstrong girl.
Matthew Foerster, 28, is on trial in Kelowna for the 2011 Halloween night beating death of Taylor Van Diest.
The 18-year-old was found along the edge of the railway tracks in Armstrong and later died in hospital.
Foerster of Cherryville was charged with first degree murder about five months after the killing.
Jury selection began Monday. Fourteen jurors, including two alternates, will begin hearing the evidence next Monday.
