One person is dead after a three-vehicle collision in Langley Saturday afternoon, according to RCMP.
Mounties said they were called to the collision at around 2:15 p.m. on Fraser Highway between 240 and 244 streets.
Investigators believe a pickup truck with a lone occupant was driving east on Fraser Highway when it crossed the centre line and crashed into another vehicle. That vehicle then collided with a third, Mounties said.
A passenger in one of the other two vehicles died at the scene, according to Mounties.
The driver of the pickup truck and two other people from the other vehicles were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Fraser Highway will be closed Saturday afternoon as investigators continue to probe the cause of the crash.
It is not known why the pickup truck crossed the centre lines, but Mounties have not ruled out speed, impairment, weather or road conditions as possible factors.
