A former Vernon teacher at the centre of a high profile trial on sex charges was back in court on Thursday.
Deborah Ashton, 46, made her first court appearance on perjury charges.
She is accused of lying while giving evidence during her Supreme Court jury trial in February, which ended in mistrial.
She is accused of having sexual relations with a grade seven student.
Ashton will be back in court on Monday to set a date for a second trial on the three sex crime charges.
