TORONTO – Toronto police say driver error may be to blame for a head-on crash between two transit buses Friday morning that sent 14 people to hospital.
Officials say there were 31 people on the two buses when they collided at the Wilson subway station at about 11 a.m.
The injured – including one of the bus drivers – suffered minor cuts and bruises.
Const. Hugh Smith says while the cause of the collision was "probably driver error" no charges will be laid since it happened on private property.
A transit official says bus passengers are being re-directed to another area for boarding and any service delays are minimal.
Subway service is not affected.
