Three Halifax area teens found safe after getting lost on wooded path

<p>HALIFAX – Halifax area RCMP say three teens are safe after they became lost on a path through some woods on Thursday.</p> <p>Two 14-year-old girls and a 14-year-old boy were located by search teams about 90 minutes after they were reported missing.</p> <p>Police say one of the girls had a cell-phone and sent a text to her mother after they had been lost for about an hour.</p> <p>The Mounties used one of their tracking dogs to pick up the trail and 80 members of the Halifax Ground Search and Rescue team also responded.</p> <p>The teens were located just before 7 p.m.</p> <p>(CKEN)</p>
