Carey splits from her longtime team of Kristy McDonald, Kristen Foster and Lindsay Titheridge just months after winning their first provincial championship and a bronze medal at the national Scotties.

“This is an amazing opportunity for me to curl with Laura, who is one of the greatest young players in Canada,” said Carey.

The new team will make its first appearance March 27-30 at the Pomeroy Prairie Inn and Suites Prairie Showdown in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
