MONTREAL – Reports suggest that a longtime anglophone MNA is leaving politics.
According to the Journal de Québec, Lawrence Bergman, Liberal MNA for D’Arcy McGee will not run in the upcoming election.

The 73-year-old represented the riding for two decades and won in the last election by 20,000 votes.
His area included municipalities like Hampstead and Cote-Saint-Luc.
It’s not clear when Bergman will officially make the announcement.
