After a five-year hiatus, Liza Fromer returns to morning television as host of Global’s ground breaking morning program The Morning Show. Witty, charming, and energetic, Fromer’s vast television experience paired with her honest, straightforward approach makes her the perfect fit for The Morning Show’s unprecedented approach.

Born in Kitchener, Ontario, Fromer moved to Toronto, where she graduated with a degree in Radio and Television Arts from Ryerson University. While in school, Fromer gained early broadcast experience volunteering in Q107’s newsroom. Fromer began her career in television as co-host of YTV’s Video & Arcade Top Ten and Clips before hosting Good Morning Toronto on The Weather Network from 1995 to 1997. After a stint in Calgary, where she anchored A-Channel’s first-ever newscast, and Los Angeles where she worked for CBS, Fromer returned to Toronto in 2001 to co-host CityTV’s Breakfast Television morning show. In 2006, Fromer hosted her own series, The List, for Shaw Media’s SLICE network and was a regular contributor to Newstalk 1010’s Moore in the Morning program.
