It was an emotional day in B.C. court at the trial of a woman accused of killing her two newborn babies.
The Vancouver woman is accused of killing her newborn children to conceal the pregnancies from her parents and her boyfriend.
One body was found in a plastic bag outside her home in April 2009. Her other unborn child was killed the following May, but the body was never found.

Sarah Leung, 28, was charged with second-degree murder.
The accused’s mother was back on the stand on Wednesday, facing questions about her relationship with her daughter. The mother was crying for much of her testimony, saying that she failed her daughter. She said she had no idea that her daughter was so unhappy and that she had no one to talk to.
At one point the mother had to be escorted off the stand as she was too distressed to continue.
