KEREMEOS — Fire has struck again in Keremeos — the second time in 36 hours.
The most recent fire happened at around 1:30 a.m. Monday in downtown Keremeos where fire broke out in a commercial building on 7th Avenue next to the BC Liquor Store.

Officials say the flames spread into the attic of the structure and that it had to be demolished with heavy equipment.
Neighbouring businesses sustained smoke damage.
The cause of the fire is not considered suspicious.
Structure fires in Keremeos have been keeping crews busy.
On Saturday night, fire ripped through several vacant apartment units atop the Riverbed & Bistro Restaurant.
No injuries.
The cause of that fire remains under investigation.
