Arrest made in murder of father of 10

Toronto police have laid murder charges in the shooting death of Clifenton Ford, 38, a father of 10. Nicholas Walker, 37, was arrested thursday and charged with first degree murder.

Ford was gunned down on March 28 at around 2:20am at G’s Chill & Grill, a bar on Eglinton Avenue East near Midland Avenue. The bar was packed at the time of the shooting and many patrons have come forward as witnesses.

The following day, the following day the mothers of the victim’s 10 children visited the scene of the crime to pay their respects.
