“He [Pascal] doesn’t know what is going on. The man is just as stunned as everyone else with what’s going on.”

“I spoke with police. He isn’t a suspect. Nothing. He was just a witness to something that happened. They never said he was a suspect.”

Jean Pascal’s press attache Feymie Ze Lou confirmed to Global News that Pascal is expected back in Montreal sometime on Tuesday. He’s currently in California.

The former light heavyweight champion is coming off a dominant unanimous decision over Lucian Bute in Montreal last Saturday.

More than 20,000 thousand people packed the Bell Centre to watch the fight, which was billed as the biggest ever between two Canadians.
