‘Game of Thrones’ exhibition coming to Canada

TORONTO — An exhibition of costumes, props and weapons from the hit series Games of Thrones is coming to two Canadian cities.

Game of Thrones: The Exhibition will return to Toronto’s TIFF Bell Lightbox from May 14 to 18 and premiere at Vancouver’s PNE from Aug. 16 to Sept. 1.

The free exhibition includes the coveted Iron Throne as well as costumes, armour, weaponry, crowns, House banners and model dragons and eggs from the popular show. In all, more than 100 items will be on display.

Fans can also put themselves within the world of Westeros in a fully immersive interactive experience.

Season four of Game of Thrones premieres April 6 on HBO Canada.

Information on obtaining tickets for the exhibition will be announced in the coming weeks.

The collection is scheduled to go on display in six other cities around the world this year, including New York, Rio de Janeiro and Belfast.
