Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the following areas:
A strong low pressure system is causing heavy snow to fall this evening over Central Saskatchewan. The heaviest snow is expected to last well into the overnight hours, by which time 10 to 15 cm will have fallen. The areas which are most likely to receive the heaviest amounts of snow are from Saskatoon northeastward through Hudson Bay.
As of 8:00 PM CST, there have been reports of 5 cm of snow in Saskatoon.
