UPDATE: All weather warnings in this story have now ENDED
SASKATOON – A wind warning is in place for most of southern and central Saskatchewan on Wednesday.
Environment Canada says a low pressure system moving through the northern prairies is bringing with it a mild pacific air mass.
With the mild air, strong winds will occur, mainly in the afternoon. Winds will generally be in the 50-60 km/h range but at times will gust to 100 km/h or stronger.

The same system brought wind gusts of 119 km/h to Fort St. John, B.C. and gust over 100 km/h were reported in Alberta.
Winds are expected to drop below warning levels Wednesday evening.
As the storm tracks southeast, strong west-northwesterly winds will develop during the morning with winds gusting up to 90 km/h.
