The northbound car ended up on its roof, with debris scattered across the highway. There was one person in each vehicle.
“Everybody is apparently okay at this time. One of the occupants in the vehicle went to the local medical clinic to be checked out and the other occupant is fine,” says Cst. Anthony Deveau.
Highway traffic was delayed while the wreckage was cleared away.
Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.
Police say they’re going to need to talk to more witnesses before assessing which driver was at fault.
