Global Calgary flood coverage recognized by Canadian Screen Awards

Global Calgary has received two nominations from the Canadian Screen Awards for its coverage of the southern Alberta floods last June.

Global Calgary is nominated in the categories of Best Local Newscast and Best News Special.

“It’s a huge vote of confidence from our peers, as well as our viewers, in terms of the quality and consistency of our news programming,” says Troy Reeb, senior VP of Global News.
