COSAR says it got the call at around 3 a.m. to assist RCMP in the search.

The search only got underway at daybreak because of the high avalanche risk in the Moore Mountain area.

A 20 kilometre area around Two John’s Road, also known as the #201 forestry road, near Moore Mountain is being scoured for signs of the missing snowmobilers.
